Sea & Sun Technology is happy to announce that we took over ISW Wassermesstechnik from Dr. Hartmut Prandke. The specialist for microstructure sensors and winches for microstructure profilers is now part of the SST enterprise. MSS profilers are multiparameter probes for simultaneous microstructure/turbulence and
standard hydrographic measurements. They are equipped with high resolution microstructure plus standard hydrographic sensors and can be used in marine and limnic waters.
After 20 years of excellent co-operation we now integrate the entire production in our factory in Trappenkamp. Together with Dr. Prandke SST will keep on developing innovations and new winches for the microstructure measurements. Dr. Prandke will support the team as a consultant. With this step Sea & Sun Technology will secure innovations and support for all microstructure probes. In addition to that SST can shorten the delivery time for our clients. Furthermore SST will provide the following service of data processing procedures on request:
• Data validation
• Calculation of standard oceanographic parameters
• Calculation of microstructure and turbulence parameters
• Graphical presentation of the calculated parameters
• Documentation of all steps of data evaluation
