The Fast SST-DO is an oxygen meter for depth up to 2,000 m.
The optical DO Sensor measures the partial pressure of the dissolved oxygen in liquids and gases. The measuring principle is based on red light excitation and lifetime detection in the near infrared spectrum using luminescent oxygen indicator. The fiber-optic detection on solely a mm2 tip results in fast response times of 300 ms.
Temperature compensation is controlled via the probe temperature sensor.
