max. depth 12,000m

The temperature sensor is a Pt100 platinum resistor in a tiny ceramic carrier. It is mounted in a slender titanium tube. This delicate tip can withstand a pressure of 1,200 bar, but is extremely sensitive to shock and bending. Therefore, the tip is surrounded by a perforated titanium shield tube, which is mounted on the standard flange. The platinum resistor is connected in 4-wire technique.
